Description
Reinforced Safety and Steering Control. With the Lemon Peel Steinjager Crossover Steering Kit, your TJ can crawl over rocky trails and navigate through rugged terrains with the assurance that your steering system will not lead you to unstable or uncontrolled steering. This kit comes with a drag link and tie rod covered in a durable, sunny Lemon Peel finish to add some brightness in your undercarriage, while providing your TJ with safer maneuvers and enhanced wheel control.
Long-Lasting Functionality. Steinjager engineered the tie rod and drag link using 1.50-inch, drawn-over-mandrel tubing with high tensile strength, excellent dimensional accuracy, exceptional weld integrity, and high corrosion resistance to hold up well with off-road use. The .75-inch chrome moly ends are designed with improved load-bearing capacity for more stable performance. In addition, the vivid lemon peel, powder-coat finish reinforces the tubing, while imparting a sense of distinctive personality to your TJ’s off-road style.
Simple Installation With Drilling. Installing this Crossover Steering Kit requires that the Pitman arm and spindles be drilled out to .625-inch. The drag link connects to the Pitman arm and to the passenger spindle, while the tie rod connects to the spindles on both sides. Re-alignment is highly recommended after installation.
Limited Warranty. Steinjager backs this Crossover Steering Kit with a limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Some exclusions may apply. Please see the terms and conditions for full details.
Application. Steinjager specifically designed the Lemon Peel Crossover Steering Kit to fit all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.
Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
