Description
Precise Steering for Improved Navigation. Ensure superior handling and steering precision both on and off-road by using the Fluorescent Orange Steinjager Crossover Steering Kit on your TJ. This steering system provides improved precision control and facilitates responsive steering while conquering various trail obstacles. It includes a heavy-duty drag link and a tie rod that connects independently to the knuckle in a reinforced configuration. These components also display a captivating, fluorescent orange finish that will add some high-spirited appeal to your TJ’s dynamic stance.
Superior Off-Road Durability. Steinjager assembled this steering kit through intensive processes to ensure its reliable durability for the rough off-road lifestyle of your Jeep. It is composed of a tie rod and drag link with premium, 1.50-inch DOM construction. It also includes heat-treated, .75-inch chrome moly ends and tempered Grade 8 hardware built to hold up well with high-stress driving applications. In addition, the tubes are fortified by a vivid, fluorescent orange powder coating for extra durability, while adding some highlights that you can stylishly match with your other upgrades.
Installation With Some Drilling. This crossover steering system is designed for a simple installation that requires some minor drilling of the Pitman arm and spindles. The drag link attaches to the Pitman arm and to the passenger side knuckle. The tie rod, on the other hand, connects to the bottom of the spindles on each side. Re-alignment is highly recommended after installation.
Limited Warranty. A 1-year limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship is offered by Steinjager for this Crossover Steering Kit. The products will be repaired, replaced, or refunded if found defective upon Steinjager’s sole discretion. Please check the terms and conditions for complete details.
Application. Steinjager designed the Fluorescent Orange Crossover Steering Kit for all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models that is lifted between 0-4 inches.
Note. It is recommended that you either have 4-inch or less backspacing and a minimum 16-inch rim. Factory 15-inch rims may rub the heim joints.
