Design. Smittybilt's XRC Armor front tube fenders are fashioned out of strong steel tubing, making them ready to take on the most challenging outdoor situations. The tubular form makes the fenders able to stand up to hard wheeling, mild impacts, and the wear and tear of trails and natural areas. These fenders are finished with black powder coat paint, which is extremely durable and resists all kinds of scratching, chipping, and corrosion. The all-weather protection provided by the powder coating, plus the stainless steel hardware, keeps rust at bay both summer and winter, rain or shine.

Construction. These tube fenders, besides being rugged and dependable, provide high clearance that enables use of large, aggressive tires. Bigger tires make your Wrangler better able to handle rough terrain capably and safely, from soft, wet ground to rocky slopes. These XRC fenders provide the ability to mount larger tires without needing to modify your Jeep's chassis. The factory latch is shifted to a new location to improve the finished appearance of the new fenders.

Application. This kit is a drill installation for 1987 – 1995 YJ Wranglers. Some drilling, cutting, fabricating, and modification is required.
