How to Install a Smittybilt Quick Detach Windshield Header on your 2007-2014 Wrangler JK

Step 1: Remove the two plastic knobs and brackets from header. (Fig A)

Step 2: Slide header into brief and snap brief onto header (Fig B)

Step 3: Lay header on top of windshield frame. (Fig C) Do not secure brief on vehicle
at this time.

Step 4: Once header is on top of the windshield frame insert knobs from top down while
holding the clamp on the bottom of the header and begin to fasten together.
Make sure extended tab of clamp is resting next to inside of windshield frame.

Step 5: Secure the knobs tightly by going back in forth between them tightening a little bit each until both are completely tight. Installation is now complete and you may
proceed installing your brief.
