It holds the can securely in 2 places, by the bottom lip and with a locking bracket that attaches to the handle.

This mounting bracket is a tough and rugged universal upgrade, constructed from cold-rolled steel with a durable, black, powder-coat finish to keep up appearances and prevent corrosion. With this bracket, you're able to increase your Wrangler's fuel capacity by up to 5 gallons.

    Simple Installation. Installing the mounting bracket is a straightforward process, although it may require some drilling and other simple modifications. With the right tools, you can have it installed in around an hour.

    Five-Year Limited Warranty. Smittybilt warranties this bracket against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Refer to the manufacturer’s website for complete warranty details.
