Description
Design. This tailgate cover from Smittybilt is an exceptional way to take wasted space and turn it into a storage solution. This cover is made from high quality, rugged 600 denier polyester, and each of the two large storage pockets are lined with PVC. The pouches can be removed from the cover to easily take with you, and additional pouches can be purchased to add to the rack.
Storage Benefits. The storage solutions offered in this cover are virtually endless, thanks to the fact that other bags can be strapped to the gate. Essentially this kit offers an easy to install rack that can accommodate any bag, including the two large storage bags that come with it. This is the perfect place to store camping gear, gym gear, hunting gear, off-roading gear – and more!
Install & Fitment. Installation does require some minor drilling, but is a breeze. This is recommended for anyone who has the right tools and can follow simple installation instructions. Once the cover is mounted to the tailgate, it's there for life. When it's not in use, you can simply remove the bags and the cover remains in place to be used at a later time. Smittybilt covers all of their products with a limited manufacturer's warranty.

Perfect accessory
One of the biggest issues with owning a Jeep is the lack of storage. This helps alleviate that. Pouch system that attaches to the tailgate that is perfect for supplies. Fairly easy to install and looks great. I loaded it with tools.

Solid and Easy
Install was very simple, tailgate stays solid as I hit bumps in the road. I like how the tailgate doesn't just swing open any more and will stay where you leave it. Nice for tight parking areas.

i was able to put this in in about 20 mins. it fit exactly where it needed to be. only problem that took and extra min to solve was one screw location was on a crease.

perfect for recovery gear or ammo. I keep some tools and recovery gear in the big pouch and some shooting equipment in the little one. everything fit perfect and is very organized. keeps stuff from rolling around in the back and looks great as well.
