Note: Please read instructions thoroughly before installing this product. A windshield header is required to install this. (Smittybilt part # 90105)
Step 1: Remove your hardtop or lower your soft top down (if equipped).
Step 2: Lay your top on its top on a clean surface. Remove the knobs and latch bracket from your header and then slide header into the front of the top. Connect the snaps on the top to the ones on the header. (Fig A, B)
Step 3: Lay the header on top of the windshield frame and spread top back over vehicle. (Fig C)
Step 4: Reattach the brackets to the header using the knobs previously removed and secure the header. (Fig D)
Step 5: Pull the center flap back over the sound pods and insert plastic hook into the hole. (Fig E) Pull on strap and secure.
Step 6: Locate the straps in the rear corners. Wrap the straps around the sport bar and secure. (Fig F)
Step 7: Wrap the rear flap around the rear horizontal cross bar and secure the two straps. (Fig G)
Step 8: If your vehicle is equipped with factory door surrounds proceed, if not go to Step 10.Slide the plastic strip sewn into the top into the plastic channel on the door surrounds.(Fig H) Tuck the Velcro straps up under the top. Repeat this on each door section of the top.
Note: If you have a 2010-2011 with the new door surrounds/soft top (Added plastic extrusion in the top channel part of the door surround) you will not be able to utilize this mounting style, proceed to Step 10.
Step 9: Locate the drain flaps in the front corners and just behind the front door. Fold the top from back to front so it lays flat. Secure with Velcro straps. (Fig I)
Step 10: If your vehicle does not have the door surrounds simply attach the top to the roll bar using the remaining Velcro straps along the side of the top going around the sport bar.
Step 11: Make sure all straps are secure. Installation is now complete.
