Sizing. The SkyJacker Softride Nitro shock works with various Wranglers with numerous levels of lift, depending on the year and type, and can be used either front or back, depending on the application. The compressed length is 13.71 inches with an extended length of 22.58 inches.

Properties. These 150 psi nitrogen gas pressured shocks utilize a multi-stage velocity sensitive valving, a larger than average piston head, twin-tube construction, internal rebound bumper, and 5/8 diameter hardened double chrome rod. The urethane bushings and compression control help to prevent the formation of air bubbles – which in turn reduces fade.

Notable Features. There is no question that SkyJacker has been one of the most respected companies developing high-performance shocks for numerous years. This shock is typically recommended for heavy-duty applications, like severe off-road usage, but it can work equally well on street applications. The shocks themselves are white and come with a red polyurethane boot.
