Corrects Sway Bar Geometry After Installing A Suspension Lift. After raising the front suspension of your Jeep CJ, you’ll notice that the front sway bar no longer can connect to the front axle using the factory end-links, considering the added distance. Two solutions to this issue are purchasing longer sway bar end links or lowering the sway bar’s mounting point by approximately the same distance that your Jeep is lifted; these Sway Bar Relocation Brackets accomplish the latter. By installing between the sway bar mounts on the frame and the sway bar brackets, this bracket effectively lowers the sway bar to correct the sway bar geometry and make up for the increased height.
Retain Your Factory Sway Bar. Even at the factory ride height, a sway bar is incredibly beneficial to the handling characteristics of your Jeep CJ. When raising the center of gravity even higher and installing larger tires, the sway bar becomes even more beneficial as it greatly reduces body roll and helps to prevent your Jeep from leaning too far to one side, potentially leading to a roll-over. For safety and proper handling characteristics on the road, a sway bar is necessary for your Jeep CJ, and these brackets allow for its continued use, even after a suspension lift.
High-Quality, Corrosion-Resistance. To keep these brackets structurally sound and attractive for years to come, they’ve been zinc-plated for maximum corrosion resistance in even the most extreme conditions.
Warranty. This product is covered by Skyjacker’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
