Description
Maximized Performance. The SkyJacker Black MAX Rear Shock Absorber for 4-5 inch Lift uses foam-cell technology to optimize the performance inside by compressing the foam insert to compensate for oil expansion. Since the air inside the shock is efficiently removed, the shock can be mounted in any direction. It also features augmented fluid capacity.
Durable Construction. You don't have to worry about this shock absorber lasting for the long haul. SkyJacker designed it to have twin tube construction. The end mounts have been arc welded and it has a chrome plated shaft.
Specifications. This shock absorber has an upper mounting code of BP12 and lower mounting code of ES25. The dimensions are 24" x 3" x 3". When fully extended, the shock absorber is 26.80 inches. It is 15.91 inches when collapsed. It weighs 6.00 lbs.

pleased but dissapointed
thought these would be a little more stiff but never the less a good shock if you don't mind a little bit more roll when turning. great for off road. ok on road. if i didn't have to drive my Jeep all the time these are great for the weekend trail riders.

Not Great, Not Terrible
Easyish install if you have grease, a vice and a mallet to press in the plastic bushings, great price. Improvement over my worn factory shocks in the front. Rear - after replacement the rear almost hits harder than before on crappy Colorado Springs city roads. It's like something is lose, except nothing is loose. Still chasing that mystery.
