Hood Decal with Freedom Star Design. Accent the hood of your JL Rubicon with this Hood Decal from SEC10. This Hood Decal features a small oscar mike star to pay tribute to your Jeep's military roots.
Perfect Fit Guaranteed. SEC10 vinyl designs have been test fit, refined, and tested again on our very own fleet of vehicles to assure a perfect fit every time.
Wrapping Cast Vinyl. SEC10 uses only the highest quality 4 mil Wrapping Cast Vinyl available on today's market. Featuring a built-in protective clear coat layer, this wrapping cast vinyl is designed to last through at least 8 years of harsh outdoor weather. This 4 mil vinyl is far more durable when compared to similar products that were designed with thinner calendared vinyl film, which starts to degrade in just a couple of years.
Air Release Technology. Air release technology features miniature air channels on the adhesive side of the vinyl that allows air to be easily squeezed out from underneath. This technology provides a bubble-free installation and a smooth wrinkle-free surface.

As Advertised
I bought this item in hopes of cutting down the glare from the sun's setting/rising on my white jeep's hood. Following the video instructions the install went OK, most of the time involved relating to removing and reinstalling the wiper sprayers and hood heat shield. In the end I thought it looked good though I have to say it wasn't as good as cutting down on the aforementioned glare as I would have hoped.

Easy to Apply - Well Fit
Great easy decal to customize your Jeep. Although the one I got was matte finish, it still scratched/scuffed a bit while pushing the air bubbles out. So far has held up to fall and a mild Chicago winter. Only been on for about 6 months so I can't speak to longevity of the decal, but so far so good!

Do Not Buy!
I installed this product per the instructions and left my Jeep in a heated garage for two days. The squeegee that came with it scratched it all up even when it was covered in soapy water. The first time I took it out air bubbles popped up everywhere. Then today driving on the highway in the rain the front peeled up and started flapping everywhere destroying it. A decal for a jeep should be able to stand up to rain and highway speeds. DO NOT BUY!!

Could be better
I already knew that I had to remove those insulation pins and washer nozzles. So that was not an issue, even though it was a bit pain in my a$$ to remove it. The issue was the decal itself. It was not really easy to remove from the masking sheet? paper? I understand that they put the sheet to protect the decal from damaging but it was just too sticky so if you are not careful enough, you will damage the decal while removing it. Other than that everything was straight forward. Pretty easy. Just use plenty of soapy water. Lastly, you will need a new pins for the hood insulation cover. I don't know why they did not mention anything about it. So when you get this decal, please get extra pins for yourself. (I got it from Amazon for around $9) Otherwise you need to wait a couple more days to finish the job, completely.
