Key Features. Once the windshield hinges on your Jeep start to go, letting things flop around on the road or trail, these Rugged Ridge Winshield Hinges are the perfect fix. They have a great fit and finish, giving your rig a customized look that people everywhere you go will admire. Even after a messy trail run, they clean up easily and resist corrosion as well as deep scratching, preserving the original look for a long time. Not only that, they fit perfectly, so you don't have to worry about any unwanted movement of your windshield at any speed.
Construction. Constructed of stainless steel, these Rugged Ridge Winshield Hinges are definitely built to last. The material resists corrosion, even if you live where they salt the roads in the winter, so you don't have to buy replacement hinges after only a few years. The plain stainless steel finish looks great and cleans up easily, plus with a little wax they retain a really nice shine. The included bolts are engineered to keep the hinges attached securely, no matter how rough of trails you go over.
Installation. Give yourself an hour or more to install these winshield hinges, because it's a job you don't want to rush. It's not an installation a novice or someone with little expeirence should take on alone, but it doesn't require advanced automotive knowledge to complete successfully. You will need an Allen wrench to tighten the included bolts, but no other tools are necessary. The part of the installation that takes the longest is getting the windshield lined up with the Jeep's tub, which can be a little tedious but is a vital part of the process.
Application. The Rugged Ridge Windshield Hinges are designed to fit all 1976-1995 Jeep CJs/Wranglers (YJ).
