Design. This locking console from Rugged Ridge is an excellent example of where utility, comfort, and design meet. It's constructed with hardwood that's water resistant, and then wrapped in padded, comfortable foam. This creates the cozy armrest Jeep drivers want, which is then covered in sleek, easy to clean vinyl. The end result is a handmade product that is of high quality and features tons of secure storage space.

Storage Benefits. There are many possible uses for this console. Inside there's a removable cooler that has a unique design to fit six cans. There are two keys for this center console, so several people can have access to the secured space. A coin sorter brings an end to the inconvenience of searching under the seats for change, and the flip down sunglass case keeps them conveniently close in a spot you won't forget. There are also several cupholders, each of which is adjustable and can handle most standard cups and mugs.

Install & Fitment. There's plenty of evidence that Rugged Ridge creates quality products, including the fact that they are an industry leader – and of course the fact that this and other products are backed by a generous five year limited warranty. Installing this console requires some drilling, and though instructions are included it's suggested that those with moderate or better mechanical skills do the installation.
