Very ill fitting product. Had to modify it to fit correctly. Too wide to fit into the bracket on the differential. Had to narrow the lower end by 1/8th of an inch for it to fit.

I was needing to relocate my track bar because I was lifting my YJ jeep 2.5 inches. Product worked as advertised. Would buy again.

Mark's 1989 jeep

Recently bought '89 jeep and noticed that there was no rear track bar. So I bought a new track bar and relocation bracket from ET. Track bar fit great. The bracket took a little effort. Since the new bracket was the same width as the mounting bracket on the axle, I had to spread apart the mounting bracket a little. Also, because of the 4" lift, the end of the track bar and relocation bracket did not quite line up. The track bar end was parallel to the ground, but the bracket pointed a little toward the rear of the jeep. So I cut the bracket in half, made the necessary angle adjustment, welded it back together and painted it. Everything worked great.

Once I got the relocation bracket installed, it delivers exactly what its supposed to. As we know, install is never as easy as you hope. The width of my bracket was too wide to fit in the stock mount. A vice, a hand held slegde and some pounding coaxed the bracket to fit. I'm pleased. Well worth the money if you've got a lift and want the track bar to fit as it should.

2.5 IN LIFT

We only did a 2.5" lift but needed to extend the track bar. The part wasn't pricey so I figured we'd give it a try. The part worked perfectly despite it saying it is for a 4" lift.

Did not fit. Bracket was the same width top to bottom. Fit track bar fine. However was the same width as the braket on the rear housing.
