      Description

      Construction. Rugged Ridge uses 3/16 thick steel for this steering box skid plate. The plate is first primed with a rust resistant e-coating, and then finished with a chip resistant black powder coating. Rugged Ridge engineered this plate for maximum ground clearance so as not to interfere with your off-road journeys.

      Protection. This skid plate protects your TJ's steering box from sharp boulders and other hazards by taking the edge off impacts. Stay safe and mobile with this skid plate.

      Accessories. This plate comes with bolts and washers needed for installation.

      Application. Installing this plate requires you to drill one hole in your Jeep's frame, but the remaining bolts utilize OE mounting points. This plate fits on 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Models with power steering.
