Specs. The Polished Aluminum Locking Fuel Cover by Rugged Ridge is a great way to dress up your Jeep's gas cap opening and keep people from siphoning out your gasoline, too. This round, hatch-like gas cover is sleek and eye-catching with its chromed finish, while fabrication out of aluminum ensures that you needn't worry about rust or corrosion. The Locking Fuel Cover locks shut with the included key, though a non-locking variant is also available. Once unlocked, a smooth-edged thumb notch makes opening the cover easy and comfortable, too.

Construction. Rugged Ridge's Polished Aluminum Locking Fuel Cover installs over the existing gas cap opening and doesn't require that you remove internal portions of the gas filler assembly or the taillight during installation. Some drilling is required to make mounting holes in the OEM plastic insert. The Fuel Cover then attaches with 8 included self-tapping screws. It is covered by a 5 year limited manufacturer's warranty.
