Construction. Like stock Jeep Wrangler side mirrors, the housings are constructed out of heavy plastic that can withstand the elements and some heavy use on roads as well as trails. The mirrors are made to work on full and half steel doors, but machined door hinges might be necessary to make it work. Depending on your Wrangler's setup, you might need to install upper door hinges that are machined to have a proper mounting surface.
