Each piece fits over the stock components like a glove, so it looks like your rig got a custom chrome job. Installation is a cinch, and the kit is durable and will look excellent for a long time.

Construction. All four cap pieces included in this Mirror Cover Kit are made of high quality ABS plastic, so you don't have to worry about durability issues. The chrome coating is UV protected to guard against sun damage, and you can wax it along with the rest of the exterior as a way to prevent scratches. Double-sided tape with an automotive grade adhesive is included with the kit, providing solid performance for years in the harshest environments. All pieces are made to fit stock components perfectly.

Installation. You won't need any tools to install the Mirror Cover Kit, but Rugged Ridge does recommend cleaning the mirror housings thoroughly before beginning. Any dust, dirt, or other debris left on the surfaces could cause the double sided tape to not adhere correctly, and the different covers could come loose later, or never attach properly, so take your time and make sure you get everything super clean. It's a good idea to dry fit the diffferent pieces before you peel off the film from the tape, then press each cover in place for a minute or so before letting go. Be extra careful with your mirrors, avoding hitting them, etc. for the first day.
