How to Install Rugged Ridge Lights Out Dome Light Shut-off Clamp (97-06 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Locate the interior light switch on one side of the Jeep. Door switches are located in the forward part of the door jamb. When the door is closed the door frame pushes the switch in turning off the interior lights. These clamps work by holding the door switch in the off position.

2. Grasp clamp firmly between thumb and index finger as shown. Squeeze the tabs together. This will open up the clamp slightly. Make sure that the side of the clamp that is blocked by the tab faces toward you as shown in the picture.

3. Slide the compressed clamp over the switch post while pushing in the switch. When the clamp is fully seated release the clamp.

4. The clamp should remain on the switch post. If it does not stay on repeat steps 2-3. 

5. Repeat on other side. You are now ready to enjoy door free driving without the inconvenience of having the interior lights on.
