      Description

      Construction. Rugged Ridge's Light Bar Lowering Kit is made out of steel with a durable powder coat paint job that defends against rust, corrosion, and physical damage. Consisting of a secondary bar that mounts 4 lights of up to 7 inches diameter each, the kit weighs 6 lbs and measures 49 inches by 9 inches by 4 inches. The kit is for use with the Rugged Ridge Windshield Frame Light Bar and features a 5 year limited warranty.

      Specs. The light bar lowering kit alters the full frame light bar in several important ways, potentially making it more convenient for certain users. The profile of the vehicle is made lower, so that it can fit more easily into garages with minimal clearance. Larger lights can be fitted, optionally, with up to 7 inches being possible. Furthermore, wind noise is reduced, particularly at highway speeds.

      Installation. Installation of the kit is very simple. The kit is attached to the light bar, then the brackets are pushed flush and the bolts are tightened. Finally, the lights are attached and the lowered bar is ready for use.

      Application. This Rugged Ridge Light Bar Lowering Kit is specifically designed to be used on 2007-2018 Wrangler JK models equipped with Rugged Ridge Windshield Frame Light Bar, part# 11232.21.
