How to Install a Rugged Ridge Hurricane Fender Flare Kit on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Disconnect side marker lights, twisting bulb counter-clockwise.

2. Remove front ares, retaining all hardware.

3. Remove rear 81resand retain all hardware.

NOTICE:
Removing or pulling back rearfender liner isnecessary for thisstep. Shield retainers may need to be removed.

4. Clean body panelsand body sides of ares before installation.

5. Begin to install front tires by rst lining up placement pinswith body panel holes.

6. Attach front Laresusing M3.9 Flange-Head Screw and T-slot Nut forfront holes and M5 Hex Bolt, Washer, and Rivet (if needed) in rear holes. Do not fully tighten.

7. Peel 2-3 inchesof red tape covering back away from trim edge.

8. Starting with the front of the Care, begin to install Edge Trim to top edge of fare with adhesive side contacting inside edge of Care.

9. Gradually remove red tape covering while pressing remaining Edge Trim into place. Tighten boltsaccordingly astrim is installed

NOTICE Do not stretch Edge Trim during application.

10. Trim excess Edge Trim from ends of each are.

11. Looly attach Rear Raresusing M3.9 Range-Head Screw and T-slot Nut forfront holesand M5 Hex Bolt, Washer, and Rivet (if needed) in rear holes.

12. Repeat trim installation for rear -ares.

NOTICE If any shield retainerswere removed during installation, replace them now.

13. Install M8 Socket Cap Screws and Range Nutsto side wall of pocketsand tighten fully.

14. Install Sde Marker Housing using M4 Phillips Head Screw and Flange Nut. 'Tighten fully.

15. Cut bulb wire 2" from base of bulb rxture. Strip 1/4" from the endsof each wire.

16. Splice bulb wireswith supplied black and white Extension Wire and Butt Connectors.

17. Wrap exposed wire with Wire Loom.

18. Reattach side marker bulb through large hole in fenderto Sde Marker Housing. Twist clockwise
to secure.
