Installation Instructions:

1. Inspect the hood vent for any debris and ensure the screw holding the screen in is secured tightly. Once you install the vent scoop, you will not have easy access to the screw or screen.

2. Take a small piece of masking tape and mark the centerline of the vent. Place the tape on the hood along the vent center line. Using the tape measure, find the center of the vent scoop and place another piece of tape at the center line on the vent scoop.

3. Place the vent scoop over the hood vent. It can be installed with the scoop facing forward or backwards. Determine which way you prefer. Be sure to leave enough clearance between the vent scoop and the wiper blade arm. Use the hood hinge as a guide to ensure the vent scoop is aligned straight across the hood. Note where the tape will land around the hood vent and thoroughly clean the area with alcohol and a clean cloth.

4. Start to peel back the protective covering on the three pieces of double sided tape. DO NOT REMOVE THEM ALL THE WAY. Just enough so it sticks out when you set the vent scoop back on the hood.

5. Place the vent scoop over the hood vent. Use the masking tape placed earlier to ensure it is centered. Use the hood hinge as a guide to ensure the vent scoop is aligned straight across the hood. Be sure to leave clearance for the wiper blade arm.

6. While holding the vent scoop in place, carefully peel back the protective covering from double side tape. Press down along the edges of the vent scoop to ensure good adhesion to the hood.

7. Remove the two pieces of masking tape used for alignment.
