Description
Key Features. Achieve a more rugged, industrial look for your Jeep with this high-end Non-Locking Fuel Door Cover. The non-locking design means you can fill up without any hassles. Self-tapping screws are included, anchoring the door right over the stock cap without further modifications. With an occassional washing and waxing, you can easily maintain the shiny chrome finish, which is designed to handle all kids of grunge. Installation is super simple.
Construction. The solid stainless steel construction means you don't have to be ginger with this Gas Cap Door, because it's rugged enough to handle everyday use. The chrome finish resists scratching, especially if you apply a thin coat of wax on a regular basis. Stainless steel self-tapping screws with a chrome finish are also included, providing a consistent look and feel.
Installation. Most people should be able to install this mod without any real problems. It's a good idea to dry fit it first, holding the door in place while opening and closing it so you get the positioning just right. Take care when marking the position of the cap's anchor points, because you're drilling into the body and can't easily reverse any mistakes. From there it's just a matter of tigthtening the screws to finish the job. Plan on about an hour, and have a drill, marker and screwdriver on hand.
