      Description

      Design. This storage console by Rugged Ridge is made out of tough but lightweight high-density polyethylene and measures 41.5 inches long by 6.5 inches deep by 2.5 point inches high. The interior features both a non-skid pad on its floor and a mesh storage net, both of which help keep items safely inside the console. Total storage volume is 450 inches. The console does not interfere with Jeep operation and can be used just as easily with the top up or down.

      Storage Benefits. The Rugged Ridge composite overhead storage console proves as a combination box and shelf for keeping items of gear that are not too bulky, maps, books, spare sunglasses, canteens, electronics, CDs, and other smaller items. The mesh storage net prevents items stored inside from falling out, but keeps them conveniently ready to hand. This console attaches just below the roof line, and does not reduce the amount of space in the cab.

      Bolt-On Installation. This Storage Console attaches to factory mounting points on the forward roll bars. No drilling or specialized tools are needed to mount it. Total time to assemble and fit the console varies from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the owner's experience with attaching accessories.

      Application. This Rugged Ridge Composite Overhead Storage Console is designed to be used on all 1987-2018 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ and JK models.
