It's designed with a convex dual focus mirror that's pretty handy. At the upper part of the mirror it's a regular view, while the lower part of the mirror shows items closer than they appear for greater detail. That kind of versatility is handy on the road, or when you're out in nature. The fact that the mirrors' styling matches the stock look of your Jeep is another plus, especially if you're not going for some wild modifications and just want to play things low-key. Just like the OE mirrors, these are manually adjustable.

Construction. The plastic used to make the mirror housings, arms and anchor points is UV treated, so it can withstand the sun and whatever else mother nature throws at it. On top of that, the construction matches the level of quality you get with the stock mirrors, and the dimensions are the exact same. In fact, everything is so similiar you can use the stock hardware and mounting points to anchor the mirror.

Installation. Set aside an hour or so for the installation process. Rugged Ridge makes the mirror assembly so you can tigthen everything with basic tools, like a socket wrench. The process is extremely straightforward, with the majority of the time going toward getting everything tight enough the mirror doesn't flop or flutter at high speeds or on especially rocky terrain.
