How to Install Rugged Ridge 7 in. Round Crystal H2 Conversion Headlight - Pair w/ Bulbs (97-06 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

You will receive 2 replacement lenses that replace the existing sealed beams. Each lens will have a preinstalled bulb.

Remove lenses from packaging and check that bulbs are properly seated. Do not touch glass part of bulb. The vehicle used in these directions is a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. These lenses will replace a round 7 inch sealed beam, however instillation directions may differ depending on the year and model of your vehicle.

1. Using the T15 screwdriver remove the 3 screws holding the headlight bezel in place. After the screws are removed the plastic bezel should come out easily. If it does not, wiggle it gently. Set the bezel and screws aside

2. Remove the 4 inner retaining ring screws. Make sure not to remove the 2 headlight adjustment screws located near the retaining ring screws. Remove the retaining ring and set aside. 

3. Pull the old bulb gently out and disconnect the plug from the back. Clean plug as needed.

4. Connect the new headlight and slide into place. Ensure that it is oriented correctly. Turn on lights to ensure that it works properly.

5. While holding the headlight in place replace retaining ring and replace the 4 screws holding it in place.

6. Reinstall the bezel and replace 3 screws. Do not overtighten screws.  

7. Repeat on the other side. Enjoy your new headlights.
