Listed tools are for removal of OEM Links, yours may vary.
Installation Instructions:
1. Using two 18mm wrenches and 6mm hex, remove existing front links. If your current links are the correct length for your ride height and travel, set new links to the same length as a good starting point.
2. Install top stud through sway bar and link and tighten using 19mm wrench and screwdriver or punch through hole in end of stud.
3. Install lower stud into place and tighten using the same method. IMPORTANT: Lower passenger side pin is the “short” one to accommodate track bar bracket. As shown in the photo below, the threaded portion of this stud is not long enough to reach the nylon threads of the provided lock nut if you have a track bar relocation bracket installed. I opted to use blue locktite in its place.
4. Repeat process on opposite side. Insert snap pins to hold links in place. Now verify that link length is equal on both sides and adjust as necessary. In most suspension configurations, ideal length will put your sway bar running “level” or parallel to the frame.
5. Tighten jam nuts into place using the adjustable wrench. Take care that the top and bottom joints are aligned. Links come pre-greased, but it’s still a good idea to add a pump or two to each zerk or until boots slightly swell.
6. Install complete!
