Reliable Construction. The Rubicon Express Extreme-Duty Rear Monotube Shock is comprised of 6061-t6 billet aluminum black anodized components, as well as a ⅞-inch, OD-hardened chrome shaft. This ensures the high durability and reliability of this shock. To maximize damping capability, this 2.5-inch-diameter shock is tuned specifically to Rubicon Express spring rates. On top of that, the shocks include a hydraulic rebound cut-off for getting rid of harsh top-out, as well as a durable powder-coated finish that protects these shocks from getting corroded, scratched, and so on.
Hassle-Free Installation. The Rubicon Express Extreme-Duty Rear Monotube Shock was designed for a relatively hassle-free installation. In fact, it was made to be simple enough for anyone with just a tiny bit of mechanical expertise to be able to install it in approximately 1 hour.
