The Rough Country Spare Tire Delete Kit with 8-Inch Chrome Series LED Light Bar is the perfect tire carrier delete kit that offers total functionality as well as a radical rear-end style. The kit is designed to allow the use of your backup camera, 3rd brake light, and license plate even after the tire carrier is gone. What's more, it comes with the added functionality of an 8-inch, LED light bar for added illumination.
Extra Rear-Facing Lights. This tire carrier delete kit features an 8-inch Chrome series LED light bar which is mounted on the top side of the delete. This light bar comes with a lumen rating of 3,200 which is powerful enough to ensure any hazard is immediately seen when backing up. Additionally, this light bar adds a distinct off-road style to your Jeep.
Tough Build Quality. This spare tire delete kit features high-grade steel construction for optimum durability. This delete kit is also machine-formed for a consistent fit and finish. Likewise, the included 3rd brake light cover plate is precision-cut with the RC logo giving the delete kit some extra styling. Finally, this kit is treated with a durable black powder coat finish for maximum corrosion protection and classy looks.
No-Frills Installation. This spare tire delete kit is designed to mount onto your Jeep using the factory mounting holes left behind by the factory spare tire carrier. You will need to perform some wiring to reuse the brake light, and backup camera, and to make the LED light bar work. Apart from this step, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete. It is also suggested that you clean your Jeep’s tailgate before installing this kit, as any trapped dirt can cause scratches.
