      Description

Say Goodbye to Bump Steer. When you lift your Jeep, the space between the track bar and the drag link increases. This is what causes bump steer, a potentially dangerous situation where your wheels steer themselves without your input. Fix this issue by restoring the factory angle between the track bar and the drag link with this Rough Country High Steer Drag Link kit. Once you install this drag link, you’ll notice a significant reduction in bump steer, not to mention improvements in handling and overall ride quality.

Made From Premium Materials. This high steer drag link and its accompanying mounting hardware are made from premium-grade materials to ensure top-notch performance. It’s also fully greaseable to help increase its lifespan. You can count on this high steer drag link to stay in great shape and work perfectly for a very long time.

No-Cut, No-Weld Installation. To install this high steer drag link, you will need basic hand tools and the enclosed mounting hardware. Minor drilling is required, but no cutting or welding is necessary. Total installation time ranges from 2 to 3 hours.

Comes With a Lifetime Warranty. This high steer drag link is covered by Rough Country’s lifetime warranty against material and workmanship defects. If you need more information or have any questions about the warranty policies and coverage, kindly get in touch with the manufacturer.

Application. This Rough Country High Steer Drag Link can be installed on 2007-2018 models of the Jeep Wrangler JK.

Application Notes. This high steer drag link must be used with the stock pitman arm ONLY. In addition, this drag link MUST be used with a track bar relocation bracket. Lastly, this drag link can be used with Jeeps with a 3.50 to 4 inches of lift if using the factory track bar, and with 4.50 to 6 inches of lift if equipped with an adjustable track bar.

      Works

Feels good, helps your steering geometry. Drilling the knuckle stinks. Getting the right drill bit isn’t super cheap. Some of the pricier kits come with a bit or are a drills install.

      Nice high steer option

Good quality drag-link only thing I wish it had was the drill bit included as it was hard to find in my area.

      Great for price

It is a good bit beefier than the stock drag link. The biggest addition to this is the clearance of the flip and that alone makes it worth the price. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the grease fitting is a vertical fitting making you take the wheel off to grease and is SUPER close to my stock 17” rims. It doesn’t hit, I’ve driven both on street and on the trail. It does great, way stiffer than stock, greasable ball joint end it a huge plus, extra clearance is amazing, with all these it makes it well worth the money. You do need a 7/8” drill bit so you better have a mean drill and plenty of WD40 cause you have to drill your knuckle. It gives an insert to replace the taper you don’t need a tapered bit (thank God). If you want the additions listed previously and don’t mind a bit of work it’s worth it. I also installed this along with a forged track bar and 3.5” lift so my time will be a bit different from yours.
