I would have rated this product a 5 star except for one item. I like the low profile of the light bar and it does not interfere with my vision. However, I can no longer pull my windshield wipers all of the way up, so it makes the cleaning of the windshield a little more difficult. But do I like the product? Yes, but you need to know about the blocking of the windshield wipers and it took acouple of hours to install due to wiring issues. But overall I would recommend it.

So far so good
I’ve used this off road twice. So far so good. The mounting location has its obvious pros and cons. Pros: low profile and unique/sleek look, ability to have a snorkel (couldn’t get a reasonable set up and have a snorkel with roof mounted light bar), install location makes it very easy to wire Cons: some of the beam is cut off by the hood (hood glare isn’t bad though, also this issue isn’t so bad if you have good headlights that make up for that), can open the hood to rest on the windshield when working in the engine, can’t lay windshield down (not my thing anyway) All in all this is a great light bar and fantastic bang for your buck. Took me no time to install it (had factory aux package makes it very easy). It functions as good as any single row LED light bar and it definitely does the job having tested it myself during night rides. Note: if you wire it to the factory aux switches be sure to wire it to aux 1 or 2 since those are both 40amp switches and this light requires a 40amp fuse; if you don’t have factory aux switches kit has everything you need for easy install.

Rough Country 50 inch light bar
I gave it 3 stars because there is absolutely no installation instructions. There are wiring instructions but that's it. Not everyone knows how to install the foam noise diffusers and the extra screws and brackets not required for the light bar with A Piller brackets just causes confusion for those not experienced in light bar installation. I selected afternoon for time to install because too long was not an option. Rough Country can do better than this. Add some basic instructions.

RC Light Bar 50 in
I hooked the RC light bar up to a Nilight switch kit. You will need to cut the wire before the relay for the black and red wires to install to the 30 am switch. If you don't have the external switches use what ce with the light bar. Supper bright with no wind noise, but you must I stall the wind cancel rubber supplied with the kit.

Easy install, hi lights Jeep's modability
This light bar looks good and installs super easily. With the modern panels, Jeep have made it possible to tuck all the wiring easily to get a clean install. The light is super bright and has a great range. The one criticism I would say is completely due to positioning: the reflection from the hood is insane. If you have a brighter colored Jeep like I do (High Velocity), you'll want to get one of those matte black decals for your hood to cut down on the reflection. The light comes with a whole harness with a relay and power switch. If you already have the AUX switch panel like I do, you don't need it. Just power and ground to the light. I ended up cutting the power and ground to the light just before the relay so that I could wire is straight into the Jeep and control is via the stock location buttons. It's already set up for a 40A, so it'll be good to go. Looks good, works well, easy install. Highly recommend.
