Description
Master Kit for Ring and Pinion Gear Installation. Installing a new ring and pinion gear set into your Dana 30 axle is a difficult project as it is, without having to scour auto parts shops for the components needed for the correct install. The Rough Country Dana 30 Master Install Kit solves this problem by providing you with everything you’ll need to properly rebuild your Dana 30 axle. This kit offers premium quality bearings and races, which in turn ensures your ’97 to ’06 Wrangler TJ performs at its best.
Comes With All Necessary Accessories and Components. Of course, a proper master install kit isn’t complete with just a set of bearings and races. The Rough Country Dana 30 Master Install Kit also comes with a number of other components and accessories needed for a successful ring and pinion gear install. This kit includes a deluxe shim kit, ensuring you get the correct pinion distance. The included gear marking compound, on the other hand, ensures you get the correct gear tooth contact pattern. Other accessories included in this kit are pinion seals, a pinion nut, a crush sleeve, ring gear bolts & sleeves, and an oil baffle.
Professional Installation is Advised. The Rough Country Dana 30 Master Install Kit makes installing your new ring and pinion gears much more convenient. That being said, a correct installation will need specialized tools like a bearing press, and a dial indicator for proper installation. Extensive mechanical skills, and several hours work are also needed for installation. Consequently, professional installation is strongly advised.
