Before install

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the vacuum pump from the mounting bracket by using a 10 mm socket.

2. Pry up on the tips of the green tab and slide it out, then disconnect both hoses from the vacuum pump. Lastly, disconnect the wire harness.

3. Using the two factory bolts and a 10 mm socket, attach the vacuum pump relocation bracket to the driver’s side fender panel.

4. Using the supplied 10 mm bolts, washers, and nuts, bolt on the vacuum pump to the relocation bracket.

5. Follow the two hoses that were disconnected from the vacuum pump to the top of the hood. There will be two clips that keep the hoses from moving. These clips need to be either cut or pulled out with pliers. The hoses can then be pulled up and out of the hood.

6. Disconnect the thicker of the two hoses at the connection where the wire loom ends. Then remove the end with the adapter of the same hose.

7. Connect the adapter back to the disconnected hose in the engine bay from the previous step. Plug in the other end into the vacuum pump and slide the green tab back into place to secure the hose onto the vacuum pump.

8. Use wire cutters to cut the wire harness that was disconnected from the vacuum pump in its original location.

9. Strip the wires, then use the provided connectors to extend the wires with the ones provided.

10. Connect the harness to the vacuum pump and feed the wires through engine bay and down to the original location of the harness. Once again, strip the wires and use the provided connectors to extend and complete the connection.

11. Secure the wires using zip ties.
