Description
Extreme Duty Drag Link Kit. RockJock's Currectlync Modular Extreme Duty Drag Link is a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock drag link which provides an immediate upgrade in steering feel, stiffness, and strength.
Adjustable. Unlike the factory and some other aftermarket Drag Links that are fixed, RockJock's Currectlync Modular Extreme Duty Drag Link is adjustable at both ends. This allows you to precisely dial in your suspension settings, specific for your lift/application, to ensure you stay safely on the road or the trail.
Heavy Duty Construction. This Extreme Duty Drag Link is manufactured in the U.S.A. from 1-5/8 Inch diameter SAE 4130 heat treated chromoly steel for ultimate strength. RockJock then completes their Drag Link in a semi-gloss black powder coated finish for long lasting corrosion resistance. This Drag Link features 1-1/4 inch thread forged steel greasable tie rod ends at both ends.
Modular Design. The massive tie rod ends thread into the tie rod end body so that they may 1) be replaced without replacing the whole rod end saving cost, 2) the same threaded in tie rod end is used at both ends of the tie rod, so only one spare would have to be carried, and 3) they may be unscrewed from the rod end bodies and screwed in from the other side if a flipped drag link was desired.
Bolt-on Design. RockJock engineered their Currectlync Modular Extreme Duty Drag Link to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock drag link. Installation can normally be completed in about 3-4 hours’ time with just basic hand tools. The drag link will need to be adjusted to the proper angle for your specific lift. Please note that an alignment is recommended after installation.
Application. This RockJock Currectlync Modular Extreme Duty Drag Link is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
Technical Note. Flipping the drag link would require retapering the tie rod end holes from the top of the knuckle. Rod end taper is 1.5" per foot. Unit replaces part number JK-9701DL.
