Meanwhile, a sealed ball-bearing roller system maintains smooth operation, and automotive-grade weather strips keep the tonneau cover completely sealed off, preventing leaks. Additionally, this tonneau cover uses a unique lockable latching mechanism that can be secured at any point along the railing, offering superior versatility. And to completely secure this truck bed cover, just lock your tailgate shut and you’re done.
Rigid Build Quality. The Retrax RetraxONE MX Tonneau Cover’s shell is made from a single piece of high-grade polycarbonate that’s extremely resistant to moisture, UV rays, and extreme temperatures. This polycarbonate panel features rigid aluminum reinforcing ribs providing superior strength. This truck bed cover’s robust mounting frames are also made from aluminum taking advantage of the metal’s excellent strength to weight ratio. Finally, this tonneau cover is finished in a chip-resistant matte-black powder coating for excellent corrosion protection and stylish looks.
Straightforward Install Procedure. The Retrax RetraxONE MX Tonneau Cover uses the included mounting rails to mount onto your truck bed rails. These rails attach using convenient no-drill clamps and simple hand tools. You may opt to drill a couple of holes through the plastic plugs located at the front-end. This is to provide the included drain hoses with a cleaner looking exit, but this not a required step.
