Style, Function and Protection. A set of Black RedRock 4x4 4-inch Oval Bent End Side Bars are a great way to add a convenient step for easy entry in and out of your lifted Toyota Tacoma. These great looking RedRock 4x4 Side Steps will upgrade the appearance of any 2005-2023 Double Cab Tacoma, while providing extra protection from road and trail hazards.
Heavy Duty Construction. These RedRock 4x4 Side Steps are manufactured from heavy duty, 4-inch diameter, oval mild steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity. RedRock 4x4 then completes their Side Steps in a gloss black powder coated finish for excellent durability and long lasting corrosion resistance. As part of the final assembly RedRock 4x4 installs a set of rugged non-slip step pads.
Easy, Bolt-on Installation. RedRock 4x4 Side Bars are engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade using just basic hand tools, so there is no drilling or cutting required for a clean straight forward installation. All of the necessary hardware is included for installation, making this an easy job for anyone to complete in under two hours time.

These do touch your factory front mud guards!
I am very pleased with the look on my 2022 Tacoma SR5 double cab. Installation was relatively easy. Not planning on doing any major back trails or rock climbing. This is more for my wife getting in and out of the vehicle as well as to prevent the dings in my doors from inconsiderate people who will park next to you even if you find the most remote parking spot in the lot. I did inquire before purchasing if these interfere with the factory mud guards and was informed they do not. However they they do touch your front mud guards. It lost one star because of that. I am hoping under normal driving conditions they will be ok.

Easy install, functional, and good looks
My shorter passengers appreciate the boost as well as my elderly father. The bars were easy to install and align by myself. I'd say 20 minutes a side. Ground clearance is still good too. Got great compliments at the gas station.
