Hey, guys. I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the RedRock 4x4 Rocker Guards, fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs.RedRock 4X4 offers these for both two-door and four-door Wranglers. These rocker guards are for those of you who have a factory side step and are looking for something a little stronger for off-roading, or are looking for a step that is high and tight up against the body, and does a good job of hiding the pinch seam. These are going to be stronger than those factory side steps or tubular steps, but they're not quite as strong as frame mounted armor. So, if you're doing light to moderate wheeling, these are going to be a good option for you. The nice thing is that they're also priced accordingly, so they're going to save you a little bit of money over more stout armor. These are built with tubular steel that is 0.12 inch wall thickness, and 1.75 inches diameter. You can tell when you look at the welds and especially when you pick these up, that they're built strong. The four-door weigh in at 72 pounds, and the two-door at 53 pounds. And they're both finished off with a textured black powder coat that is both corrosion and rust-resistant. These rocker guards you'll install just like a factory side step, to the pinch seam and the underside of the tub, so there's no drilling necessary. They're completely bolt-on. As far as tools, you'll need a set of sockets and all the hardware necessary is included in the box. The entire install will take about two hours from start to finish. These are really well priced for what you get. They're definitely more affordable than some of the stronger frame mounted armor, and they still offer a great step. All in all, this is a solid product at an affordable place. I'd recommend these rocker guards for anyone who needs some additional protection for light to moderate wheeling, is looking for a useful step and wants something that looks good and covers that pinch seam. You get all of that at an affordable cost, and an easy bolt-on installation.Remember, if you do some more serious off-roading, you'll want to look at some of our stronger frame mounted armor. So, that's my review of the RedRock 4X4 Rocker Guards, for both the two-door and four-door JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Painless Install
These rocker guards look great on my 2016 Willy’s, as an upgrade for the stock rock guards. Installation was straight forward, and was completed solo in less than an hour. Fit is great and they are very sturdy. The textured black gives them a great look.

Rocker Guards
Good low end rocker guards. Delivered with a few small scratches, but not worth sending back. Easy install, less than 30min per side. Perfect for what I’m using it for.

Rick slider’s
Seems to be stronger than the stock running boards . But still gives one a small step to slide into the Jeep

Great Product!
It is precisely what you are hoping for when you order! You still have all the clearance you need but still have a "step" to get up and down.

Awesome!
Took my Jeep off-roading right after installing. There’s just enough sticking out to be used as a step to get in. Definitely will protect my frame when passing over obstacles

Best rocker guards around
I put these on a 2014 jeep jk 2 door sport, and I must say they have done the job perfectly, I have done some pretty rough stuff, rocks, mud and have been on my side almost, and these things have protected the body and they're amazing. I love the look it's very nice and very sleek, after a while you honestly don't even notice them, they are insanely easy to install, took me and a buddy maybe an hour if that, these things have nice armor and don't weigh much, these have definitely been through some shit, have a few scratches that im proud of, absolutely love these.

Sweet addition
Definitely worth it!!! Simple to put on, passenger side needed a slight bump to line up but nothing worth bitchin about. Haven’t had any hard hits to be sure , but from the construction of these Bad Boys I suspect they will do exactly what I want !!! Easy Ass install
5 Top Rated Questions
Q: Do these weight 53 pounds each or 53 pounds together?
A: That is the total weight of both rocker guards.
Q: Are there end caps on or are the ends open?
A: The ends are not open and are just part of the bar itself. If you take a look at the install video on the product page here, right around 3:55 you will get a good shot at that piece of the piping.
Q: When i click on the product, it shows price as a (pair) but then it changes to (each). Is the price displayed for the pair or for each?
A: Thank you for your question! The price displayed on the product page is for the pair.
Q: I'm planning on ordering these rocker Guard along with a rugged ridge tube front bumper (J15648) and a smittybuilt rear bumper (J17266). How well do the textured black finishes match up?
A: Hello, the textured black finishes should be very similar, but since you are getting different brands, we wouldn't be able to guarantee you they would match up 100%.
Q: Do they flex and hit the body. And will they hold up to light rock crawling
A: The RedRock 4x4 Rocker Guard will not hit the body in normal use, however if hit hard enough they may bend which could possible cause them to contact the body.
