With the Rancho rockGEAR Rear Shock and Control Arm Skid Plates, you’ll be able to dominate the most challenging off-road trails and terrains with greater peace of mind. These skid plates are designed to shield your Jeep Wrangler JL’s rear shocks and control arms from trail debris, obstacles, and other hazards—preserving the components’ performance and structure. Sporting these skid plates will allow you to push your Jeep further, and enjoy your off-roading adventures longer.

      Built From High-Strength Steel. These rockGEAR Skid Plates are made to protect your rear shocks and rear control arms. As such, they’re constructed from 0.25-inch thick high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel, boasting remarkable strength and high resistance to corrosion. They also come covered with Rancho’s resilient red powder coated finish for increased durability and longevity.

      Installation Doesn’t Require Drilling. These skid plates boast a bolt-on install, so installing them will take no more than 2 hours to complete. However, the task requires moderate mechanical expertise to ensure that all of the components are properly secured to the Jeep.
