Description
High-Quality Replacement Shocks. Get the quality shock upgrade or replacement your Jeep deserves with the Rancho RS5000X Front Shock for Stock Height. This shock absorber features an innovative rebound valving system that reduces harsh initial impacts when hitting a pothole, off-road trail, or similar activity. Additionally, it incorporates a custom-tuned, clamped disc base valve that controls fluid transfer during the compression cycle of the shock to help absorb hits without disc flutter and to aid in maintaining vehicle control in almost any situation.
Durably Made. This shock absorber has been made larger with a 2-1/4-inch diameter shock body to run cooler, boost vehicle control, and improve performance at various speeds and terrains due to a greater fluid capacity. The black natural rubber bushing offers additional shock absorption and lessens transferred street noise and suspension trembling. Lastly, a low-friction, self-lubricating seal preserves gas and oil to help extend performance and also to provide extra defense from dirt and debris.
Installation. Putting this Front Shock Absorber on your ride is easy and requires no drilling.
Warranty. There is a limited lifetime warranty for this product.

Better ride
I replaced my front Rough Country shocks with these Rancho RS5000x and what a difference! I have read that it would take a couple hundred miles to "break-in" the new shocks in order to notice a difference but I could feel the difference right away, much smoother ride! Now for the rear!

Not sure about length
I have compared these next to the Falcon shocks they were going to replace and they certainly seem a bit short, but the ride quality is definitely there. Just a heads up to check all measurements before purchasing.

Easy upgrade! (Once we got the OEM front shocks off!)
This was a simple upgrade, once we got the original OEM shocks off, which was a serious pain-in0the-butt! The original owner of my JK Wrangler Sahara lived in Maine, so needless to say, there was some serious rust issues. The upper connections of the front shocks took the most time, due to said rust! Overall, once we got past the rust issues, installation was a breeze!

Great so far
Purchased these to replace stock(non lifted diesel), did purchase front from another place due to not being in stock. Great price compared to others. Install took a few hours due to not having access to a lift. So far riding good, wouldn’t say night and day difference but for sure can feel a firmer(smoother) ride.

Would NOT recommend
I was hesitant to buy these but I have had Rancho on jeeps before and they where fine. So i bought these thinking the white and red would look good on my red jeep. Well they looked great and preform just fine but... DO NOT BUY if you are looking for something that looks nice. After 5 months of being on the truck they have rust all over them and they have never been offroad. They definitely should have better coatings. Do better Rancho!

Replacement Shocks
I purchased both front and rear shocks and they perform great. Installation was straightforward and I used anti sieze on all the bolts. Old bolts were extremely rusty otherwise job would’ve been quicker.
