      Description

      Increase Steering Power. Need a replacement for your stock or damaged steering gearbox? Upgrade to the PSC Motorsports BIG BORE XDII Cylinder Assist Steering Gearbox. This gearbox offers increased steering power and overall reliability to your Jeep Wrangler. It is designed to accommodate larger tire sizes, larger axles, and locking differentials. Unlike previous designs, this steering gearbox is fully tapped and ready for the optional lines for hydro assist rams.

      Offers Improved Turning Force. This BIG BORE XDII Steering Gearbox can produce up to 35% more turning force than your Jeep’s OE steering gear. This was made possible by replacing the 70mm piston assembly with the larger 80mm piston so the output torque is significantly increased. Such change will let your Jeep easily handle turning of tires with up to 37-inch size. To enable your Jeep to handle the extra torque output, the sector shaft is also increased from 35mm to 45mm.

      Heavy-Duty Quality. This steering gearbox is made with heavy-duty case and highly-reliable durability. All the mounting areas have been beefed up significantly to handle all the demands of increased steering force. More materials have also been added to the case in all mounting for a sturdier base.

      Direct Bolt-On Installation. Getting this BIG BORE XDII Cylinder Assist Steering Gearbox is a direct, bolt-on installation. The gearbox is made to fit precisely to your Jeep Wrangler and will not require complicated medications. However, some aftermarket additions may need minor adjustments.

      Installation Note. This gearbox has a larger size and may interfere with some aftermarket track bars. Some clearance issues may arise with hemi engine conversions or LS3 conversion.

      1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. This BIG BORE XDII Steering Gearbox includes a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty. It provides coverage for defects in materials and workmanship only. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners of the product. Failures caused by misuse, negligence, modification, abuse, improper application, installation or operation, or failures caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts are not covered.

      Application. The PSC Motorsports BIG BORE XDII Cylinder Assist Steering Gearbox is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
