How to Install Power Stop Performance Front Brake Calipers - Red (90-06 Wrangler YJ & TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Before, after wheel and tire removal.


2. Remove the 2 – 12mm bolts holding the caliper on. 


3. Lift from the bottom of the caliper to remove the caliper from the mounting position.


4. Using a 14 mm socket remove the brake line from the old caliper.


5. The brake fluid with leak until installed into the new caliper. Watch the fill reservoir to make sure it doesn’t get low. 


6. Locate the yellow cap and crush washers on the new Power Stop Performance Front Brake Calipers.


7. Use the 14 mm bolt to attach the brake line to the new caliper.


8. Stack up of crush washers.


9. Attached to the caliper.



10. Locate the proper side brake pads using the old pads for orientation. Then use brake lube to coat the back side of the pads.


11. Snap the pads in. 


12. Reinstall the caliper using the new provided 12 mm bolts.


13. Bleed the brakes per the Jeep maintenance manual.


14. Installation complete.
