Hot, light air fountains out through the louver, pulling colder, denser air up from below to cool the engine and make the fan and radiator work more effectively. This lightweight but stiff aluminum louver also strengthens the flimsy sheet metal of the hood, too, while the louver gives your Jeep an adventurous, custom-modified look. The louver admits a little rainwater but this is not a problem for the engine.

Cut and Fit. The Poison Spyder Black Hood Louver is made for insert in a hole cut in your Jeep Wrangler's hood, attached with included stainless steel button head cap screws fastened into holes drilled around the perimeter of the main hole. The kit includes a template for exact placement of both cuts and drilling.

Application. This variant of the Poison Spyder Black Hood Louver is made to fit 2013-2018 JK generation Jeep Wranglers with the double windshield washer nozzle.
