      Description

High Performance. Don't lose miles per gallon and performance just because you want to install larger tires. Re-gearing your rig will let you upgrade your tires without sacrificing anything. Install Alloy USA 4.88 Gears and fear limp mode no more, climbing any hill or inclined with ease. Not only will you enjoy and feel the difference in performance, but your 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ can even improve its MPGs. Install those much desired larger tires and rock crawl with ease with the installation of 4.88 Dana 30F/35R Gears.

Quality Construction. Featuring a heavy duty 8620 steel construction suitable for use both on the street or off-roading, the tight tolerances of these Alloy USA Performance Ring and Pinion Gears provides easy set up and are extremely quiet when installed properly. Not only are they high quality and quiet, they are protected by Alloy’s 5-Year Warranty. They feature Gleason gear cutting technology in their manufacturing to provide unmatched gear solutions made to last.

Re-Gearing. When you increase the diameter of your tires, the engine has to work twice as hard to turn them. Naturally, that will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. Anytime you re-gear your rig, you can regain lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Application. The Alloy USA Dana 30F/35R 4.88 Gears are designed to work on 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJs, excluding Rubicon models. Please choose from the options above to order the Dana 30 - Front Gears only, the Rear Dana 35 Gears only or both the Dana 30 - Front and Rear Dana 35 Gears as a set.

Application Note. The Dana 30 4.88 Gears will require the use of a 3.73 and numerically higher carrier or an aftermarket locker while the Dana 35 4.88 Gears will require the use of a 3.54 and numerically higher carrier or aftermarket locker for installation.
