Overland Vehicle Systems 7/16-Inch Soft Shackle with Loop; 41,000 lb.: Nice, not had to use yet though? Resists water, light weight but strong, easy to loop thru itself. Highly bright color, string yet soft enough where unlikely to scratch a car's finish. Folds into un itself, bends flexes, fit very easily into it own clearly marked tote bag with synch string closure. I'd give it 5 stars if I ever had to use or tested it out.

Great Value and good fit

Installed on a 2024 Gladiator Rubicon. Fit was good. I wish the instructions were a little clearer on hooking up the wiring with suggestions on the best way. Also, they want you to hold the bottom nut in place while tightening the top not - not easy with standard wrenches since they are thicker than the nut on the bottom. Install went quickly (5 hours including installing the winch plate) and the power cables were long enough without being too long. The wireless remote worked perfectly although I prefer to use it wired. I dinged it one star for the somewhat vague instructions.

Winch arrived in good condition. The box was in good shape as well. The funny part was that the styrofoam on the inside was broken apart. Probably from the weight of the hook and the box being bounced around during movement in shipping. Everything about the equipment was easy to install. I would recommend visualizing the wiring layout of the power wires when attaching to the winch before tightening. I used a small piece of masking tape to hold the square nuts inside the mounting locations on the feet of the winch when I was moving the winch from point to point, didn't have to worry about dropping the nuts that way. I installed the winch on the RedRock Adventure HD Front Bumper with Jeep Logo. The install of the winch onto the front bumper was a bit of a struggle. The RedRock Adventure Bumper does sit rather close to the front grill of the Gladiator, which was not really a problem, but I did have to notch the passenger side of the bumper so I could sit the winch on the winch plate and move it a bit further forward for clearance of the power cables. The winch does sit really nice on the bumper and has a low profile so the front camera does provide a good view over the top. All of the power wires were labeled clearly. The directions were easy to read for the wiring of all the power cables. The main two power cables were plenty log to reach the battery, and I wired directly into the main battery for this application. Over all happy about this winch, the look, and the way its sits so low. I would recommend purchasing this combo, and would do so again.

It works but needed a little help

Design looks good. The control box did not work. Took the control box apart and found loose wiring. Threads on one of the winch body was cross threaded. Wiring cables were a little short on the control box. It took a couple of tries to get the wiring right. When spooling and tensioning the synthetic rope for the first it unspooled. The rope allen bolt was not tighten on the rope. I may have gotten one that was missed by quality control.

Easy to use

This is made very well in my opinion and has more than one use depending on the situation, but it is heavy duty enough to handle just about anything you can give it.

Snatch Block

Quality product at a fair price. Works great with wire rope. We have used it a lot pulling logs out of hard to access areas. Be sure to keep it lubed.
