Outta Hand Fabrication Front Frame Reinforcement Plates (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

When doing coilovers in the front of your JK, most manufactuers will just put their towers right onto the factory frame without adding any strength to the frame. If you took notice when cutting the factory coil buckets off, all the mounting locations were flanged to help spread the load on your frame. Then we cut that off and put just a 1/4" thick leg right to the side of the frame. This creates a huge stress point on the side of the thin factory frame rails. We decided we needed to address this. So we designed these plates for the side of the frame to help spread the load of your new strong coilover mounts. The top of the frame doesn't need reinforced with how it is overlapped and welded, it is fairely strong. The side, on the other hand, can get torn with heavy abuse or over time with the leg of your coilover mount constantly pulling against it. These frame plates simply weld to the side of the frame and are constructed of 3/16" HRPO steel. Note: The product we send is about 2.5" longer than the ones shown installed on the frame in the pictures above. They will cover up to just where the frame starts to bend back out.
