Nice Fit - Poor Quality

Black finish disappears in 6 months. Was given a second and the same thing happened.

Not bent correctly X 2

Bought this for my sons 97 Wrangler... first one came in and the ends are off by 1/4 inch to fit the holes in the hood.. looking at the part you can tell that if the short ends were parallel it would fit but they are not bent far enough... The good part is I called ET and they sent me a replacement at no charge and did not even ask for the old one back... unfortunately the new replacement has the exact same issue as the first one... I gave it a two star because of the great customer service, otherwise it would be one.. I’m going to mount one in my vice and bend it to fit then paint it with some SEM trim black...

Good quality and installed easily onto our 2004 TJ. I would recommend this item.

Not robust enough

This should be more robust for an aftermarket part. The OEM piece was more bulk. Just go with finish washers and plug the holes we never need the windshield hoop on most Jeeps.

The tie down kit came and was exactly as described, actually better than the original that I was replacing.

Simple to install and upgrade over stock. Didn't use the little rings, not 100 sure of their function.

Bought this unit to replace the original I broke putting on the Hood Graphic on my 02 TJ. This replacement looks stock but is better than stock. It's a little higher profile so it dressed up the hood even better than original. Like the other comments before mine ...I saw no use in installing the 2 little black "beauty rings" that were complimentary with this kit. They're for the rubber snubbers but we're awkward to try to install and unnecessary. The rubber snubbers look great as they are even with this new tie-down bracket. Quick easy install. A little awkward holding the bracket in position and starting the first nut but you can't avoid it. It's the only way to do it. Just take your time and focus. No worries! Well worth the money! 5 stars for the tie-down, lose a star for the unnecessary snubbers rings. They don't work.

Rugged Ridge never fails to disappoint

It fits, but the finish was absolutely terrible (paint was thin enough to see through in some areas with several chips and flakes in other areas). A quick coat of spray paint fixes everything, but I expected a little more for the price.

Nice product

Looks great installed. My only complaint is the tie down kit I received didn't come with the clear circular rubber stoppers that go against the hood (as shown in the picture) and I had to use my old ones so it wasn't metal on metal.
