Description
Intake. This Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Low Mount Snorkel Kit includes a pre-filter low mount that relocates the air intake to just under the windshield. It draws cool air from outside the blazing hot engine compartment.
Additional Features. This system is made from premium thermoformed plastic and mandrel bent aluminum. The connection hoses are made from hi-temp silicone. Excess water evades the intake system thanks to built-in manual drain valves that channel it away. Installation is relatively simple. Only minor modifications are required to the fender. There's no need for cutting and welding like other kits may require. You will install the lower air cleaner box instead of the factory unit. The factory upper box allows you to choose from the pre-filter low mount.
Application. This Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Low Mount Snorkel is designed to fit on the 2007 - 2011 Wrangler JKs with the 3.8-liter engine.
