Key Features. Jeeps are all about enjoying an open-air experience, but sometimes the weather isn't exactly accomodating. When your rig's top is on and it's raining, these Rugged Ridge Window Rain Deflectors actually work to let the air flow in, while keeping the moisture out. They look great, adding to the overall appearance of your vehicle, plus can withstand some serious blows and just about any extreme weather out there. Installation is super easy, thanks to the included double-sided tape.
Construction. Rugged Ridge uses a high quality acrylic to make the Window Rain Deflectors. The material is able to resist scratching, like when you brush against tree branches or rub against a large rock on a trail run. Also, the acrylic is shatter resistant, another great trait for a vehicle that's meant to tranverse through incredibly rugged terrain. Double-sided tape with automotive-grade adhesive is included with both deflectors, ensuring they stay firmly in place.
Installation. Before you can begin the installation proces, you need to clean the area aroudn the front window where you're going to place the deflectors. Absolutely no dirt or anything else can be on the paint, otherwise the tape might not stick all the way. Rugged Ridge actually recommends wiping down the surfaces with rubbing alcohol, which you can apply using a microfiber cloth. Before you just peel off the backing on the tape, you should try dry fitting the deflectors so you know how to position them correctly. Once each deflector is in the right spot, you pull off the tape liner, then press all along the mounting edge to ensure good attachment.
Application. You can install these Window Rain Deflectors from Rugged Ridge for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler models.
