Unlike metal epoxy, you can easily take them off if you ever change your mind about mirror placement, just in case. The surfaces are texturized and paintable, allowing the caps to blend in from a distance. You can use these covers on full or half steel doors, and they're just as durable as the door. The covers feature foam padding on the side that sits against the vehicle, protecting the paint from scratches. Mounting hardware is included.

Construction. Solid steel construction ensure that these Mirror Filler Plates match the durability, look and feel of your Jeep's doors. The side that faces out is texturized, making it ready to be painted a matching color. Soft foam padding is applied to the mount side, guarding against scratches in case you ever decide to remove the covers. The mounting bolts are included in the kit.
