    Description

    Specs. The Lift Gate Support Shock by Omix-ADA is a replacement part for the existing gas shock that helps raise your Wrangler's lift gate. When the older installation starts to lose its oomph, slowly opening the lift gate rather than bouncing it open or sagging a bit once open, this individually sold shock is a good choice for bringing some verve and bounce back to the lift gate raising. This part is meant for use with a hard top.

    Construction. Omix-ADA produces the Lift Gate Support Shock as a single replacement part, and makes it out of steel. A black finish keeps rust from damaging the shock. This gas-charged lift gate part works with hard top Wranglers only, and comes with pre-attached end clips for convenience. This part is easy to install and requires no drilling. Omix-ADA furnishes a 5 year limited warranty against defects for this lift gate support shock.

    Application. Fits 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ models.
